Our Beliefs

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and are the supreme and final authority in faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21)

We believe in the infinitely perfect triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14; Genesis 1:1; John 10:30)

We believe in the virgin birth, the sinless life, the humanity, and the deity of Jesus Christ, the Lord, the Son of God. (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35; Hebrews 4:15; Matthew 16:16)

We believe in the shed blood of Jesus Christ as the only ground of atonement for sins. (Romans 3:25; Hebrews 9:14)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension into heaven. (Acts 2:32; I Corinthians 15:23; Acts 1:9-11)

We believe in the personal, imminent, pretribulational, premillennial return of Jesus Christ for His saints, to establish His millennial kingdom. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 3:10)

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, empowers them, and indwells them. (John 16:13-14; John 3:5-6; I Corinthians 3:16)

We believe that Satan is a real being, the enemy of God and man, and the author of the fall of humanity. (Job 1:6-7; Ezekiel 28:14-15; Genesis 3:1-6)

We believe in the fall of man through the sin of Adam and the necessity of the New Birth through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 3:1-6; John 3:3-6)

We believe that justification is by faith alone, and that salvation is a gift of God’s grace. (Romans 1:17; Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe in the security of the believer and the eternal blessedness of the righteous in Heaven. (John 10:27-30; Romans 8:35-39)

We believe that believers possess two natures and may overcome the old nature through the Holy Spirit, but the eradication of the old nature is unscriptural. (Romans 6:13; Galatians 5:16-25)

We believe that the true church is the body of Christ, and that believers are united in Christ by the Holy Spirit. (I Corinthians 12:12-14; Hebrews 12:23)

We believe that the saved are called to live a life of separation from worldly and sinful practices. (Romans 12:2; James 4:4)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men and the eternal life of the saved and eternal punishment for the unsaved. (Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:1-4)

We believe that the saved have an obligation to witness by life and word, and spread the gospel through sound missionary efforts. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
